Enjoying the sun... peacefully

Guess who's getting ready for the weekend??

Thabo and Ntombi are two rhino orphans who came to Thula Thula in 2009 when they were only 4 and 8 months old. After being successfully rehabilitated at the Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage, they were released into the main game reserve but are under heavy surveillance with armed guards to protect them 24/7. Not so long ago in 2012, Thabo was shot in the front leg during a gunfight. He was lucky to survive, thanks to the extreme security measures put in place to protect these baby rhinos.

If you would like to support the orphans at Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage (they now also have a baby hippo called Charley), check out our Rhinos page. Rhino Flops proudly supports the Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage by donating a portion of their proceeds.
